Food Distribution
GGW distributes canned goods and produce twice per month to the staff.Through a partnership with the Gleaners Food Bank, healthy food is available. This can sometime offset a household’s grocery bill by $50 - $150 per month. 
Clothing Closet
Clothing provided from donations are available for staff.
Men’s, women’s, and children’s.
Free Haircuts
Employees are provided free haircuts
Driver’s License Restoration
Staff are provided the opportunity to restore or reinstate their driver’s license.
(Twice a Year)
McIntosh Loans
These are no interest loans that will be granted to employees in extenuating circumstances when other sources may not be available or appropriate due to the timing required or amount needed. For example, car repair, house repairs, unexpected medical expenses. These loans must be paid off at a minimum of $50/pay.
Surge Center
Provides resources and assistance to employees. Including debt management and budgeting, accessing reliable transportation, child support review, exploring the housing market, managing stress, and more
Project Clean Slate
Project Clean Slate is a City of Detroit initiative that helps residents expunge criminal convictions and improve access to better employment, housing, and educational opportunities.

GGW Employees receive a free 10,000 life insurance benefits.
