Green Neighborhoods
Initially this was a neighborhood enhancement strategy focused on impacting residents of the historic North End neighborhood by addressing three things: placemaking, community beautification, and wood sustainability.
GGW is focusing efforts on reusing, repurposing and/or recycling wood pallets and wood spools sourced from DTE and other vendor partners that would otherwise be disposed of, to provide enhanced beautification, training and employment opportunities.
